Ask about the scope
A testing claim is meaningful only when its scope is clear. Record the named product, version, test body, date, and applicable requirements where those details are available. A logo with none of that context leaves a reader unable to connect the claim to the game they are examining.
Use the relevant framework
The Gambling Commission's testing strategy for software used under its Great Britain framework sets out different responsibilities and testing approaches. Its coverage includes outcomes, player information, interruptions, and live-dealer operations. The existence of a framework does not establish that a particular product has passed every applicable check; that requires evidence about that product.
Avoid expanding the conclusion
Even documented testing of one system should not become a blanket claim about every game in a studio's catalogue or every casino distributing it. A research note can say exactly what document was located and what it covers. Leave unverified claims unresolved, and keep promotional wording separate from the finding.
